This project started in Los Angeles, but took me to New York, Berlin and Barcelona - and aged me five years. Ogilvy came to us with an idea to create interactive bus stops for the 2014 MWC in Barcelona. We devised, designed and developed a system of real-time animated infographics to display data from the conference, including real-time GPS tracking of the buses - advanced stuff for 2014 in a city with horrible digital infrastructure. In addition, the infographics were published as static images with dynamic data on the companion mobile site in real-time - also advanced stuff for 2014. In parallel we designed and manufactured the actual bus stops - they looked great from the outside, and were really robust. But you're never going to get me to admit how they looked on the inside ...
